Editorial Policy
Our Editorial Standards
Our news coverage is guided by the principles of truth, objectivity, impartiality and professionalism. The following policy outlines the principles and practices that guide our newsroom.
Accuracy & Fact-Checking
Every report published on TokenEcho undergoes a rigorous fact-checking procedure. TokenEcho reporters engage with a number of sources in order to confirm the validity of the statements, consulting a range of materials from official governmental sources, advice from economists and experts from relevant fields of business.
Reporters gather information from a variety of sources before they write their reports. They try to focus on the facts of what is happening in a situation and clearly distinguish these from comment and opinion.
Corrections Policy
If we find an error in our reporting, we correct it right away and let you know with a follow-up report. Corrections are clearly marked within the article, noting the date and nature of the revision. Significant corrections are also noted at the top of the article. Please send any corrections to editorial@tokenecho.io.
Content Classification
We clearly distinguish between different types of content:
- News — Factual reporting of events and developments
- Analysis — In-depth examination of trends, data, and market conditions
- Opinion — Clearly labeled pieces reflecting individual viewpoints
- Sponsored Content — Paid content is always clearly marked as such
Editorial Independence
Our editorial content is free from the influence of commercial, political or other pressures. We don’t promote content from sponsors. Our journalists are not given inside information obtained through their reporting.
Sources & Attribution
We strive to provide attribution for all content. We will not attribute sources that request anonymity unless we are able to verify the credibility of their request. We check the accuracy of the information we publish and we are responsible for ensuring that an appropriate editorial process and standards are maintained. We do not fabricate or alter quotations or attributions.
Updates Policy
Breaking news stories may be updated as new information becomes available. Updated articles include an “Updated” timestamp. Major developments are covered in follow-up articles rather than silently edited.
